Here is a crochet hook holder I made:
Pattern:
Start with pink color
Row 1: 90 chain stitches, 1 chain stitch to turn around
Row 2-18: 90 single crochet stitches, 1 chain stitch to turn around
Change color to purple
Row 19-22: 90 single crochet stitches, 1 chain stitch to turn around
Change color to pink
Row 23-58: 90 single crochet stitches, 1 chain stitch to turn around
Row 59: single crochet stitches in the front loop, 1 chain to turn around
Row 60-71: 90 single crochet stitches, 1 chain stitch to turn around
Row 72: 90 single crochet stitches, make a knot and end the piece
To finish the hook holder off, fold Rows 59-72 over and sew both sides together. Then to make little pockets, sew them according to your hook sizes. Over the purple stripe, sew an elastic band and also sow it on according to your hook sizes. Fold it, so that you have thirds and sew on a button, then on the part opposite to the button crochet on some chain stitches (depends on the size of the button), so close you hook holder with. Now you're done!
In mine, I left the middle part undefined so I can customize it later when I buy either more hooks or maybe I'll put in scissors, or whatever else I find I need.
Let me know how this works for you and what you think about it!
